Windmill Cottage

Sutton Architects brief was to extend and convert the 19 C cottage to take in the wonderful surrounding views across the South Downs. The extension and internal alterations provided open plan living accommodation including a delightful kitchen / family room with bi fold doors opening onto a south facing patio and garden, and additional bedroom accommodation at first floor level.

The external remodelling of the cottage used vernacular materials complemented by a carefully designed landscape scheme.
