Sutton Architects brief was to remodel, extend and convert the detached dwelling that was built in the 1990s in a contemporary style to reflect the client wishes. 

The existing property was brick built with very little elevational relief. By extending the property with a 2 storey extension we were able to connect the existing double garage into the flow of the internal layout, and utilize it as a cinema room. The first floor was extended over and incorporates a master bedroom while the existing staircase was refurbished in glass and oak to give a modern appearance. The kitchen was extended with a single storey glazed extension and Bi Fold doors onto a large patio / external dining area.

The garden was re landscaped at the front, with the driveway increased to incorporate parking and a large double garage.

Overall the work undertaken has fully transformed the home externally and allowed for open plan living.
