St Marys is a detached white rendered property near Sevenoaks. The brief was to demolish and redesign the rear conservatory along with remodelling the interior kitchen layout to suit. The old conservatory was cold with a single glazed roof. The replacement conservatory had a slate insulated roof and cavity walls with double glazed windows making the internal environment warmer. Before the conversion, the conservatory was a room you could only use for a few months of the year. Like any traditional conservatory on a home, the hot summer months and cold winters, make the room unusable for most of the year.
