Oak Lodge

Oak Lodge is a detached timber clad property built C1890. The property was built with strong influences of North American colonial style and has many Victorian architectural details. Internally the property retains all the original details. The Client wanted to extend the existing kitchen area which was constrained by ad hoc single storey extensions to the side with replacement single storey extension that was sympathetic to the host dwelling.  To the rear of the property, the internal kitchen layout flowed out onto a large south facing patio. The extension has a series of pitched roofs to keep the height down but retained the open plan feel internally. The project is still ongoing.
